Green Smoothie Bowl

Looking for something different to serve for breakfast, lunch or dinner this week? Check out this delicious, well-balanced Green Smoothie Bowl that you can actually serve as a meal! It includes fruits, veggies, healthy fats, and protein, which is nearly all of the food groups. You can swap the coconut water for milk of choice, and add some granola and you’ve hit them all!


Smoothie Base:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/3 cup mango, chopped
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 1/4 cup coconut water
  • 1 scoop protein powder (optional)

Bowl Toppings:

  • 3-4 raspberries
  • 1/4 cup banana, sliced
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp almonds, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened coconut


  1. In a blender, combine banana, mango, spinach, avocado, ice cubes, chia seeds, coconut water, and protein powder. Blend until smooth and thick.
  2. Distribute into 2 bowls.
  3. Top with almonds, banana, raspberries, unsweetened coconut, and chia seeds.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with this! Swap coconut water for milk of choice, use frozen cubed mango instead of fresh mango and ice, change out the toppings, and more. Don’t forget to share with us your smoothie creations!
