Anderson’s Nutrition has exceptional RDNs that are not only trained in the science of nutrition but are also trained in behavior management to provide our clients with a unique experience.

Since we are experts in nutrition, we can assist a variety of clients, including those with medical needs, such as diabetes. For clients who are looking to improve their current lifestyle, we focus on nutrition, because it plays an 80% role in healthy living. From there we provide education and resources to improve your overall health and well-being.
How It Works
Each client has a unique life and body. As a result, we customize a nutrition plan that meets both your lifestyle and nutrition goals. We provide the following:

We EMPOWER our clients to make choices and changes that leave them feeling accomplished, happy, and enjoying life. Some clients come in for just education and others enroll in our Healthy Living program (4, 8, or 12-week program).
Appointments are conducted at our offices or via telehealth in a private, one-on-one setting.

What is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
A Registered Dietitian(RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist(RDN) are credentialed by the Commission of Dietetic Registration(CDR) to be the food and nutrition experts.
A registered dietitian nutritionist is a food and nutrition expert who has met academic and professional requirements including:
- Earned a bachelor’s degree with course work approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Coursework typically includes food and nutrition sciences, foodservice systems management, business, economics, computer science, sociology, biochemistry, physiology, microbiology and chemistry.
- Completed an accredited, supervised practice program at a health care facility, community agency or foodservice corporation.
- Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Completes continuing profession
The difference between a health coach or nutritionist
Dietitians typically have advanced degrees, extensive education, and training to understand how nutrition plays a role on the body. To become a health coach or a nutritionist does not require training, organization oversight, or specific standards.
How do I know if my medical insurance covers nutrition counseling?
Most insurance plans will cover nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy. Often times, our services are covered at 100%–HOORAY! Here at Anderson’s Nutrition, we do accept insurance. How do I make an appointment?
We are excited to meet you! We offer appointments Monday -Saturday, 8-8 pm ET. You can choose to come into the office or use telehealth/virtual.
You have two ways to make an appointment.
- Use our online scheduler that is available 24/7. You can see days, times, and even pick your dietitian.
- Select Initial Visits– In-person or Virtual
