Learn how diet, exercise, and more can be just as powerful as medication. Let the experts teach and motivate you to make changes. Love your heart with a new lifestyle change!

Let your registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) help you get your high cholesterol down and reduce your risk factors for heart disease.

We have a realistic approach that makes the process enjoyable and helps you meet your goals.  We believe in simple, small changes that will make the biggest difference in your life.

Are you at Risk for Heart Disease?

Have you been diagnosed with high cholesterol?

Is your LDL Cholesterol above 100mg/dL?

Do you have a family history of heart disease?

If you answered YES, we will provide a unique nutritional assessment going through your medical history, your concerns, and create an individualized plan that works for you.

Don’t let age fool you! According to the CDC,  7% of US adolescents and children have high total cholesterol. Even at the age of 20 or older, a whopping 95 million people have elevated cholesterol.

However, as you age, your risk factor continues to go up. Your body is a lot better at clearing itself of the bad cholesterol at a younger age.

Meeting with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for High Cholesterol

Did you know that a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is an expert in the nutrition field?

Many of the RDNs at Anderson’s Nutrition have a Master Degree and hold additional certifications. All of them hold the credentials of a RDN through the CDR.

Studies show that diet and exercise can lower your cholesterol and maintain it in a healthier range. It can keep your heart healthy by lowering your risk of heart disease. Many people with high cholesterol also have high blood pressure, and by staying active and eating right, you can keep yourself healthy in both ways.

Evidence shows that you can lower your cholesterol by 20% through diet and exercise in as little as 3 – 6 months
