Our clients typically see a weight loss of about 1-2 pounds per week. It may be tempting to want to lose more, however, studies show that this kind of weight loss is sustainable and long-lasting.  

12- Week Weight Loss Program

For the last 20 years, I have done a number of weight loss programs costing me thousands and thousands of dollars (Weight Watchers, HCG regimen, Medifast, and even a faith-based program only to lose and gain those same 100 plus pounds, over and over again. I was at the point where I found myself just 5 pounds away from being my highest weight. I knew I needed to lose weight but just couldn’t go through another extreme weight loss program or eat prepackaged foods again. At this point, I was discouraged and had no game plan.

I knew I needed the help of a professional, so I did a Google search for a registered dietitian in my area and came across Anderson’s Nutrition. As a Christmas/birthday gift to myself, I bought their 12-week program. My dietitian was such a godsend to me. She never judged me. When I felt overwhelmed, she encouraged me to take small steps and that those small steps would add up and make a difference.

Anderson’s Nutrition helped me worked through my issues of emotional eating. She worked with me in setting short-term and long-term goals. She was a wonderful resource of information on substituting unhealthy foods with healthier options. And, most importantly, she made me believe I was capable of permanent success. The biggest benefit I have received from being on this program is breaking my sugar addiction and eliminating my cravings for sweets.

This program has taught me that I don’t have to starve myself or eat prepackaged foods to lose weight. I can lose weight eating real food that is satisfying and gets me through the day. In fact, one of the first things I noticed was that when eating a healthy breakfast I was able to make it to lunch without feeling famished. I am so thankful that I met my dietitian and what I was able to accomplish while working with her. Those 12 weeks gave me the tools I need to continue my journey to reach the goal. As of June 1st, I have lost 56 pounds and am just about halfway to the goal. My husband has reaped the benefit of me being on this program and has lost 25 pounds himself.

Did you know that a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is an expert in the nutrition field?

Many of the RDNs at Anderson’s Nutrition have a Master’s Degree and hold additional certifications. All of them hold the credentials of a RDN through the CDR. 

Many people with excess weight may also be at risk for high cholesterol, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. By staying active and eating right, you can keep yourself healthy. Studies show that diet and exercise can help to manage weight and keep your weight in a healthy range. Having at least two sessions per month with a RDN can lead to sustainable weight loss and as little as one session per month can help with maintenance.

Our trained experts will work with you to create realistic and customized goals because we want to ensure long-lasting results. We use small changes, focusing on the whys and hows, so that weight loss occurs naturally.

We will educate you in foods that are best for a weight-managing lifestyle. Recommendations for beverages, saturated fat, animal proteins, sugar, and fiber-containing foods will all be discussed. You’ll know what kinds of foods and amounts of foods will work for your lifestyle to help with desired weight loss.

We will help you design a new lifestyle that will allow you to use food and exercise as the first line of defense against unhealthy weight gain. Using the latest research, we will teach you healthy habits that you can make to maximize healthy weight loss and reduce risk of weight-related disease.


Behavior change can be hard. That is why our dietitians are trained in behavior-change coaching, to help you identify barriers and create realistic strategies so that you can reach your goals and accomplish difficult tasks.

Meal Planning Tools

Getting meals on the table requires planning, and planning requires time. We have simplified the meal planning process. Your unique plan includes meal preferences, intolerances, and cooking capabilities to create meals and grocery lists for your needs.

Most insurance companies will provide benefits for nutrition counseling, and often the coverage is at 100%. We suggest that if you want insurance to cover, you check your insurance coverage before setting an appointment.

We have several different program durations, select one that fits your needs. Almost all patients succeed in meeting consistently to get the support and results they need. You can start with a consultation for $160 prior to purchasing a program. The consultation fee can be applied to one of the programs below. If you feel you would like to meet weekly with your dietitian, we can design a discounted program for you. Services are HSA and FSA eligible.

What your program includes

Nutrition Counseling

Meet with your dietitian in a one-on-one session, in person or virtually. Together, you will create your wellness map and get support throughout your journey.

Interactive Meal Planning

Get a customized meal plan that you control. Using a robust system, you can swap out menu items that meet your calorie, macros, and other key nutrients goals. It even feeds into a shopping list for easy meal planning.

Diet Analysis

We use a robust tracking program that allows us to see what key nutrients may be missing from your diet. No worries if you are not into tracking. This is optional and you are always in the driver’s seat.

Virtual Grocery Store Tour

You have the option to use a session to take us to the store with you. Get all your questions answered and learn more about what items such as GMO, organic, low fat and more really mean.

RD on Demand

You have access to your dietitian in between sessions for questions, support, and coordinated care with your healthcare team.

Weekly Customized Exercise Plan

Get a plan that is just for you! Meet with our personal trainers to create a plan that meets your goals, your fitness level, and your equipment. All is built in an app that makes following your plan easy. Lastly, each exercise has a video demo to help each step of the way.

If a program is not what you are looking for, you can pay as you go. Services are HSA and FSA eligible.
