These Butternut Squash Fries are a great, healthy alternative fries to traditional french fries. Tasty, satisfying and health-conscious!
Ingredients
- 1 butternut squash, peeled and deseeded
- salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Peel the squash.
- Cut the butternut squash in half and deseed it like you would a cantelope.
- Cut into french fry shapes Try to make the pieces similar in size so they finish cooking at the same time.
- Place on a cookie sheet and sprayed with avocado oil cooking spray. Cover lightly with sea salt.
- Play tray in oven and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Fries are donw when they are starting to brown on the edges.
- Serve with ketchup, or however else you would like!
