Black Bean Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 whole onion
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cans canned black beans, drained
- 1 cup water
- 4 bay leaves (large)
- a pinch of sea salt, to taste
Directions
Prep:
1. Slice onion, mince garlic.
Make:
1. Heat oil, fry garlic and onion gently (do not burn).
2. Add beans, water, bay leaves, and salt.
3. Simmer for 45 minutes.
