Diets Don’t Work
Have you felt that you have gone from diet to diet with no success? Do you feel stuck in a weight plateau? Are you looking for a weight loss program that makes change simple and life-long?
If you answered YES, we understand! We will provide a unique nutritional assessment going through your medical history, your concerns, and create an individualized healthy living and weight loss plan that works for you.
You aren’t alone! According to the CDC, almost 50% of adults have attempted to lose weight, and this number has continued to rise within the last 10 years. This percentage is much higher in women than it is in men.
However, weight loss of only 5-10% can result in substantial health benefits, with improvements in cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood pressure.
Meeting with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for Weight Loss
Did you know that a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is an expert in the nutrition field?
Many of the RDNs at Anderson’s Nutrition have a Master Degree and hold additional certifications. All of them hold the credentials of a RDN through the CDR.
Many people with excess weight may also be at risk for high cholesterol, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. By staying active and eating right, you can keep yourself healthy. Studies show that diet and exercise can help to manage weight and keep your weight in a healthy range. Having at least two sessions per month with a RDN can lead to sustainable weight loss and as little as one session per month can help with maintenance.
