Meet Darcy registered dietitian nutritionist.
Darcy Leon Burt, RDN graduated from Arizona State University with her B.S in Nutrition & Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Nutrition was a second career and college degree for her. After meeting so many people struggling with health issues related to diet and food choices, she felt drawn to a career that helps people feel empowered to make small changes that have lasting effects.
Darcy is passionate about helping others to live healthier and happier lives. This is done by implementing realistic changes that can have lasting results. Her approach to coaching is to create a personalized plan that works for each person’s unique needs and goals.

Why is Darcy a registered dietitian nutritionist?
Darcy grew up in the Bronx, New York, where access to healthy and nutritious foods was not the norm for everyone. After college and starting a career in Emergency management, she shifted to wanting to give back in a new way. This led her to nutrition.
How does Darcy stay healthy?
Darcy practices yoga and gets out to walk most days of the week. Most of her time is spent chasing around her children and high energy pitbull.

Darcy is a Bronx girl at heart that now resides in the desert. She is always on the lookout for good New York restaurants and food. You can find her in the kitchen making the Puerto Rican foods she grew up enjoying and trying new recipes.
