Why is Nikki a registered dietitian nutritionist?

I chose to go into the field of nutrition and dietetics because it combined my interests of working with people and learning about the science of food and how it impacts our lives. I started my educational career in Psychology and began to understand how better to work with people and through continuing my education, I became a Registered Dietitian. Being a Registered Dietitian meant that I could continue to learn how best to work with people and find their motivations for achieving healthier lives along with the ability to provide education and information about how to do so. I chose to become a Registered Dietitian because I know that navigating the world of nutrition and health can be difficult; I strive to help make that learning opportunity a little bit easier for any and every person I work with.
