Why is Christina a registered dietitian nutritionist?
Christina shadowed a registered dietitian as a senior in high school and fell in love with the field. She has always been amazed by how what you eat affects how you feel. She has worked as a college professor, community dietitian, hospital dietitian, outpatient dietitian, in an eating disorder clinic, as well as a rehab hospital. Christina believes change starts with small steps and setting attainable goals.
“Don’t wait until the perfect time to start a diet. Start making healthy changes today!”
Success story from her client:
“Working with Christina, a dietitian, has helped me control my blood sugars after meals while I’m managing my gestational diabetes. She is my friend on the My Fitness App to monitor my meals and determine where I need to watch my carbs. She helps me set weekly goals so I don’t get overwhelmed, we concentrate on 3 goals after each session and evaluate them.
“She even went above and beyond created a meal schedule for me and helped me find some delicious low carb recipes like cauliflower English muffins and cauliflower crust pizza, which I forgot was an option.
“She also recommended and kept me accountable to schedule an appointment with an endocrinologist to determine why all my sugars are doing great except for my fasting blood sugar.
“I appreciate all her help and her keeping me accountable. I’m also able to manage my blood sugars early in my pregnancy with diet and exercise. I wish I would have started using a dietitian as soon as I knew I was pregnant because its hard to determine how many calories I should eat and she set up my range.
“I highly recommend a dietitian for gestational diabetes or weight management.”
