Why is Meghan a registered dietitian nutritionist?

“I love helping assist others in their health and wellness goals, and watching the incredible life transformations that can be achieved by making small, realistic changes!”

I have worked as a dietitian nutritionist in a wide variety of settings including a urology health clinic, hospitals, medical weight loss, body composition testing, and for a public school district. Working with a large and diverse population has increased my skills and knowledge in the field.

Meghan’s mantra is:  “Nutrition can be either the cure or the cause of all physical and mental ailment.”

-Meghan D.

How does Meghan stay healthy?

Meghan believes in work-life balance as an essential part of staying physically and mentally healthy. She believes that all foods can fit into the diet if balanced correctly. Aside from being a group fitness junkie, she enjoys getting a daily dose of Vitamin D from the sun…spending time in the great outdoors: gardening, boating, hiking, biking and running.

What else should you know about Meghan?

She is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, IL and moved to Arizona in 2013 to complete her undergraduate degree in dietetics. She has a son, Braedan and step-daughter, Bailey–who she adores. When she is not working or at the gym, she is spending all of her free-time with them playing sports, baking or making crafts! She stays up-to-date on all of the latest nutrition research in her spare time and never trusts anything that is not in a published medical journal.
